BIPA Meeting – 120
At our latest BIPA meeting we were pleased to welcome 2 guest speakers, Nic Beishon, Chair of the Commercial Credit Data Sharing (CCDS) Data Quality group and Liz Barclay, the recently appointed Small Business Commissioner.
Nic provided us with an update of the recent activities of the CCDS group and the effect on businesses after the end of the Bounce back and CBIL loan schemes and the introduction of recovery loan schemes.
Liz provided us with details of the work she was hoping to achieve in her new role as the Small Business Commissioner, which she took up on July 1st. We recognised many areas where the aims of BIPA and the Small Business Commissioner are aligned and we look forward to actively working together with her on many joint initiatives
