BIPA Meeting – 121
At our latest BIPA meeting we were pleased to welcome guests from the Department of Business, Energy and Industrial Strategy (BEIS) and from Companies House. They provided us with an informative update on the recent Corporate , Transparency and Register Reform consultation and its 3 main areas – Improving Financial Information on the UK companies register, the powers of the register and the implementation of the ban on corporate directors. We are pleased to see that progress is being made on each of the areas and BIPA are keen to continue to work with both BEIS and Companies House to support the changes proposed to improve on the accuracy, timeliness and comprehensiveness of the data collected and published by Companies House.
Other areas of discussion included our soon to be launched redesign of the BIPA website – the fresh new look will be available soon.
